CITY OF CAMPBELL RIVER CAPITAL PROJECTS 

The Capital Works Department has been established within the City's Facilities and Supply Management Division to provide consistent delivery of all the City's major capital projects.

Services provided by the department align with the progression of the phases of major project delivery, evolving from a support role in the early phases of the project lifecycle into the lead role when the project goes into tender and contracting. This is followed by a support role once the works are complete and the project is in the maintenance period. The department work effort peaks as the project undergoes the construction process by ensuring all necessary support and controls are in place and the project is delivered in accordance with the objectives.
