NIH WATERMAIN UPGRADE PROJECT

Traffic management during construction will be the responsibility of the contractor. More details about traffic interruptions will be available once the project design work is complete and the construction contract has been awarded. In the event that the project will require temporary route closure, the City will communicate detours and local access to affected property owners and the general public. Detours will be well marked and advertised to direct traffic along alternative routes. Information about closures, access and detour
routes will also be posted, with general project information and updates on the
City’s website.
