PROJECT OVERVIEW

Work under this project includes installing a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) Station near the Rockland and Alder intersection. This will provide for better control of the pressure zones located south of Rockland. The PRV will be located behind the curb on Alder Street, just south of Rockland Road. Short sections of the watermain near the Rockland/Alder intersection will be replaced to reroute the water pipes through the new PRV. Detail design is currently underway and is expected to be completed early 2012. Construction is anticipated to happen in spring 2012.
