Seasonal and Auxiliary Employment

Auxiliary employment provides coverage for staff taking leaves, special project work or dealing with increases in work volume.  This type of employment is casual, non-permanent employment working up to a maximum of 35 or 40 hours per week, dependent upon the department.

Auxiliary positions are posted on our website when we post or advertise them in external sources such as the local newspapers.  The application and recruitment process for auxiliary positions is the same as regular employment postings.
