This department manages applications and regulations related to land development, building, business licences and development services. 

The Land Use Services Department also leads the City’s long-range planning through the development and maintenance of the City’s Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw regulations.

 

Land Use Services 

  •   Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw Amendments (rezoning);
  •   Development Permits and Variance applications;
  •   Subdivision and Strata applications;
  •   Building Permits and related applications;
  •   Business Licence applications.
  •   Operation Permits such as Work on City Lands, Culvert Permits, Fire Hydrant Use, etc.
