The provincial government offers this grant to reduce the burden of property taxes on owners who occupy eligible residences.  You must meet eligibility requirements - click here for more information.

You will need your folio number and access code from your property tax notice in order to apply for the Home Owner Grant online.  You should have received your property tax notice in the mail by the first week of June.  If you have not received your notice yet, you can request a new one be mailed to you by calling the Tax Department at (250) 286-5715.  If you wish to pick up a copy of your tax notice at City Hall, please bring picture identification.
