Official Community Plan

The Official Community Plan identifies key elements that guide land use decisions and addresses major fundamental issues surrounding environmental, social, economic, and governmental initiatives for the City of Campbell River. These elements reflect the vision, desires, and aspirations of City residents.

Applications for Official Community Plan amendments are made when the proposed use of land does not conform to that designated on the Official Community Plan Bylaw Maps or when the text in the Official Community Plan Bylaw needs to be altered to accommodate a specific proposal.
