The City of Campbell River operates three separate systems for water delivery. The Main system serves the majority of customers in the City and provides bulk water to Area D of the Regional District of Comox Strathcona.

Watershed Protection/Technical Watershed Committee
The health and safety of our watershed is monitored through the Technical Watershed Committee, an advisory group of technical experts that make recommendations on decisions regarding activities in the watershed. 
Supply and Distribution
Every year, the City of Campbell River treats and distributes over 8 million cu. m (2.2 billion imperial gallons) of drinking water to the community.

Main Water System
The majority of our water is supplied through the Main Water Distribution system which stretches over 13 km along the foreshore. The whole distribution system includes: penstock water intakes, 3 active water storage reservoirs, 280 km of water mains, 1070 hydrants and 27 pressure reducing valves.
